Striped Bass

It was a great day out on the water with Test Success at the Alexander Lake Lodge. April is a prime time for backcountry fishing in this area, as the warming waters bring the Striped bass close to the shoreline, making for some exciting action.

We had clear conditions throughout the day, perfect for spotting baitfish and casting to rising fish. I rigged up a variety of setups, from topwater plugs to live bait, and we started working the flats and channels, searching for any sign of feeding activity. It didn't take long before Test Success had a Striped bass on the line, putting up a great fight before we landed it. We continued working the area, and the bite stayed steady, with Test Success landing a few more hard-fighting Stripers.

The whole trip had a relaxed, enjoyable vibe. Test Success was a pleasure to guide, and we had a lot of fun out on the water, sharing stories and celebrating each catch. We had a great time out on the water today with Test Success at the Alexander Lake Lodge. April is a prime time for Striped Bass fishing in this area, as the warming waters get the fish feeding aggressively. The conditions were perfect - clear skies, calm waters, and everything just clicked into place for an awesome day on the backwaters.

As soon as we got the lines in, the fish started hammering our baits. We used a variety of techniques to target the Striped Bass, and it wasn't long before Test Success was hooked into a nice one. The fight was intense, but he kept his cool and landed a beauty. Over the next few hours, we stayed on the fish, adding several more Striped Bass to the box. It was just one of those days where everything came together - the weather, the fish, and a client who was dialed in and casting like a pro.

While the fishing was the main draw, it was the overall experience that really made this trip special.
