It was a great day out on the water with Test Success at the Alexander Lake Lodge. April is a prime time for backcountry fishing in this area, as the warming waters bring the Striped bass close to the shoreline, making for some exciting action.

I rigged up a variety of setups, from topwater plugs to live bait, and we started working the flats and channels, searching for any sign of feeding activity. It didn't take long before Test Success had a Striped bass on the line, putting up a great fight before we landed it. We continued working the area, and the bite stayed steady, with Test Success landing a few more hard-fighting Stripers.
